 About Stephanie Sabine Davis

I stumbled upon the Corbis archives online when I was about 14. There were all of these glorious color photos from 1930’s-1960’s magazines in there with perfectly coordinated techni-color shades. I was looking at photography in a time when everything was new and daring, and great care was taken to the creation of each photo. I was captivated. I begged my parents for a camera that year for Christmas. What ensued were years of dragging my friends along for what became a series of DIY photoshoots full of improvisation and imagination. A lifelong passion grew inside me.

While studying for my Communications Management degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, I heard about a new magazine in town that needed interns. What I didn't know was that this internship would blossom into my career. I now work as the Associate Art Director at Good Grit Magazine and my daily tasks include art direction, photography, magazine layout, graphic design, and ad management and creation. Every day I am challenged and pushed to be better, and every day I get to wake up and live out my passion.

Let's create something beautiful together! I am available for portraits, weddings, engagements, and travel photography! Or if you are a fellow photographer/artist---I love collaborations! Fill the form out below or email me at stephaniesabinephotography@gmail.com and lets chat!
